Visual Identity, User Centered Design, and Clear Communication

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Create a visual identity for the twelfth annual Write to Publish conference that is both in the spirit of last year’s design concept (for established consistency) while also remaining unique to the present year’s theme and primary objective.

We built on the color scheme from the prior year to have visual consistency while also adding a more diverse vision of book publishing which includes digital publishing in the form of eReaders and other reading devices. We wanted our poster to include more than books as the definition of a book is changing with the innovations of digital publishing.

OUTCOMES OF THE PROJECT:
  • Two poster designs,

  • A 13 page program,
  • 5 unique thank you card templates,
  • 6 unique name tag templates,
  • 3 social media template created with Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram specs in mind,
  • 2 sign up sheets for Pitch to Professionals,
  • 4 room signs with schedules,
  • Tables tents for speakers and sponsors.
